The hand guards feature a rail interface system that run along the top, bottom, left, and right of the hand guards perfect for mounting accessories and attachments. Its pistol grip now features a tough and ergonomic design for the user's comfort in long engagements. What hasn't changed is the full metal construction which includes its metal receiver, receiver cover, cover retainer button, trigger, trigger guard, magazine release, charging handle, mock gas piston, fire selector lever, rear sight, gas tube release lever, hand guard retainers, front sight block, and its threaded outer barrel. The rear sight is adjustable and hop-up adjustment can be performed simply by pulling back on the bolt.
Housed within is a Version 3 full metal gearbox with precision gears that propels BB's at 370 Feet Per Second . Version 3 gearboxes are the standard for AEG AK's and just like its other brethren it is open to a variety of upgrade parts for players to fine tune this platform to shoot harder, faster, farther. While a 8.4V stick type battery fits snugly within its top receiver just right under the metal top cover. Just as in the military world, between its durability, performance, and looks, this airsoft gun is a great choice by all alike - whether new or pro.
