Neuschwanstein Castle is famous as the inspiration for Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle, and its appearance in many films, including Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. It was built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria on the site of two earlier mediaeval castles on a hill in Bavaria, Germany and is known by many as "the closest place to a fairy tale." 

This kit contains 64 components held on 2 sheets which make a finished model measuring L13 x W5.5 x H9.5cm. Like many of the piececool Landmark series, this kit is available in silver – HP013-S - or gold – HP013-G).
