SmartBeds is an advanced ward & fall management system that works with all Rondish wireless devices including cordless sensor pads and floor mats. it provides a complete overview of bed occupancy and patient mobility within the ward, allowing the facility to control the environment to match their fall management program. it creates a quiet environment under your control.

Features
  • Controlled through a wall-mountable or desktop display.
  • Colour-coded cells display the status of each bed. This allows staff to easily identify which beds are occupied or unoccupied, where is free to assign a new patient, who is out of bed & which patients need a nurse visit.
  • When a patient leaves their bed, the display will alert nursing staff of the location duration of the event on the alarm screen in order of priority
Integrate with Fall Risk Management Programme
  • Bed / Chair Monitoring
    • Bed / Chair exit - alerts if a frail patient has exited their bed  
    • Pre-alert alarm if a patient sits on edge of bed 
    • Non-return - alerts if a patient does not return to bed after a period of time
    • No movement - alerts if a patient has not moved at all in bed for a period of time. 
    • High activity - detects if a patient moves a lot in bed. 
    • Incontinence alarm if a patient has wet the bed  
  • Mobile Patients Monitoring 
    • A pendant transmitter with call & fall detection functions will indicate the location of the nearest zone in case of fall or emergency
  • Bathroom Monitoring
    • A bathroom alert using a motion sensor can detect if a patient gets up & moves forward from the toilet seat
  • All alerts are optional & can be switched on/off, & with selectable delay for each bed depending on assessed patient risk
  • Option to send alerts to mobile phones, pagers or LED display panels
  • Acknowledgement - mobile device notifications allow staff to communicate quickly and easily. Once a staff member indicates they are responding, other staff are notified so they can return to other duties. 
  • Scheduling - all alerts can be disabled for daily routine e.g. breakfast in the morning
  • Automatic equipment fault detection - indicates if any device are out of range or need battery changed
  • Customizable reports - number of events, alarm types, location, response time can be used for statistical analysis
