The Taiwan Association of Stationery Industries (TASI) was founded on 15 June 1956. It was formerly called the Taiwan Regional Association of Educational Materials Industries. Its members include manufacturers of writing/paper/metal/plastic/chemical stationery, as well as inks and teaching supplies.

Currently, TASI has 100 major members in Taiwan. The members are located mainly in Taipei and Tainan, with the rest based in Taoyuan, Yilan, Taichung, Changhua and Kaohsiung. Their products are not only selling in the domestic market, but also exporting overseas. Forty per cent of them are exported to the US, with the rest to Canada, Panama, Chile, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, the UK, France, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Mainland China, etc.

TASI aims to build up members’ relationships, further their common interests, improve and promote their products and enhance economic development. The association strives to keep routine in its business and provide excellent services to its members, so that more manufacturers would join it and their organised and collective power would bring its functions into play.
