On 1 February 2022, the label requirement of the Triman logo and the sorting information as per the article 17 of the French AGEC law & Decree n\u00b0 2021-835 of 29 June 2021, was validated. It applies to all clothing, household linen and footwear products imported into the French market.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In order to comply with the new mandatory regulatory requirements, below main elements must be displayed:<\/p>

  1. The Triman symbol<\/li>
  2. A pictogram symbolising one product category or the three product categories<\/li>
  3. The URL link to the Ademe\u2019s website<\/li>
  4. The letters FR to specify that this measure is governed by French regulations.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

    The Triman symbol and sorting information must be physically present at the point of sale. These can be displayed on different media, including the textile label showing the fibre composition, on the temporary label (such as stickers or hangtags), printed or embroidered onto the product, on the packaging in which the product is sold to customers (name tag, box, bag, etc.). The symbol can be used horizontally or vertically.<\/p>

    All clothing, household linen and footwear products sold in France must bear the Triman symbol and sorting information starting from 1 February 2023 (or 1 August 2023 for products manufactured or imported before 1 February 2023).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
