According to the fair survey conducted at the Spring 2026 Hong Kong International Lighting Fair<\/em><\/strong> (LFSE)<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/em>broad optimism prevails among the 454 lighting industry players surveyed, with many expecting sales to increase or remain stable over the next 6-24 months.<\/p>

In terms of individual market outlooks, optimism was particularly high in the case of the emerging economies. Asked to rate markets on a scale from \u20181\u2019 (\u2018very unpromising\u2019) to \u20185\u2019 (\u2018very promising\u2019), respondents accorded India<\/strong> a score of 3.9, seeing it as the market most likely to grow over the next two years. This was followed by South Korea<\/strong> and Australia \/ the Pacific Islands<\/strong> (both at 3.8), and the ASEAN bloc, Japan and Latin America (all at 3.7). Regarding the product categories viewed as having the highest growth potential, 35% of respondents singled out LED Lighting<\/strong> as the frontrunner, while 34% opted for smart lighting and solutions<\/strong> (including lighting devices controlled by Wi-Fi \/ mobile apparatus).
