These Gewürztraminer grapes were sourced from a premier site situated along Lake Ontario’s shoreline. It was cool fermented to preserve the characteristic spicy aromatics. We then stopped the fermentations leaving a hint of natural residual sweetness.
Characteristically Gewürztraminer pronounced spicy aromatics on the nose with a balance of acidity, natural sweetness and the trademark oily richness.
Try this wine with wood fired pizzas with bacon and caramelized onions as a topping. Sauerkraut with sausage and grilled veggie’s or a spicy fish stew would make great traditional pairings.
