The Automatic Retinal Image Analysis (ARIA) system is developed by the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Since retinal blood vessels are connected with the brain and other parts of the body, we can use this portion of blood vessels to estimate cardiovascular health status.
We would provide non-invasive, fast and convenience stroke risk assessment for general population, elderly and subjects with diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. All we need is a fundus photo; through internet we can carry out this assessment at any time in any place or country.
Our Service ARIA is an algorithm built on the cloud internet platform. It is fast and easy to use: Step 1 Captured image Operator can use a widely available general fundus camera to capture the retinal image. Capturing a retinal image usually takes less than 5 minutes. Step 2 Upload Image A personal computer with wireless internet is connected to the fundus camera.
Captured images will be encrypted and transferred to a cloud server platform for analysis and reporting. Step 3 Analysis ARIA automatically analyze the uploaded fundus photo without any human intervention, the analysis process takes less than one minute. Step 4 Report A report will be sent back to the site within minutes.
The results will be stored in the main server so that subjects, doctors and other authorized person can access them anytime and anywhere.
