Biron® Lab-grown Ruby

The brightest and most valuable shade of red for rubies is called blood-red or pigeon blood.  Stones of this color command a large premium over rubies of similar quality but of other shades of red. Our lab-grown rubies are grown in a controlled environment that simulates rubies’ natural growth environment. As they are carefully grown, gorgeous color and consistent quality are possible. All rubies are gem quality with no inclusions visible to the naked eye.

A ruby’s cut is one of the primary factors that determines its value as well as its overall beauty and appeal. Rubies can be cut into many shapes and sizes. The most popular cuts  are cushion and oval.  Round, triangular, emerald-cut, pear, and marquise rubies are also available. 

Customized shapes and cuttings are available on order basis.

Anti-cushion Shape: It appears like a pillow with a square cut & rounded corners which is often considered better or more perfect for an engagement ring.
