NG-TEST CARBA-5 is a multi-plex rapid immunoassay for detecting 5 different carbapenemases found in bacterial culture that cause resistance to the “Big Gun” (most potent) antibiotics for treating bacterial infection.  The test only takes 15 minutes to complete and has a sensitivity and specificity of 100%.
