This Chocapalha Reserva White 2010 is a Portuguese white wine blended with 75% Chardonnay and 25% Viosinho. The fermentation of the Chardonnay occurred for 25 days in new French oak barrels at low temperatures, after that was aged in the same barrels for 7 months with "batonnage". Viosinho fermented during 20 days on stainless steel vats and stayed in contact with the lees for 6 months, after that the wines were blended and bottled. It features beautiful intensity on the color. It flaunts fresh and lively lemon and mineral flavors balanced by a smooth texture and bright acidity. This elegant white wine leaves a long aftertaste.
