Perimeter lighting helps define the pool spaces and provides the vertical lighting necessary for wall displays

 and generally makes poos feel larger.

The stranded multi-string side glow fiber cable is always recommended for both indoor and outdoor perimeter

 lighting. For indoor lighting, the solid side glow fiber cable could also be used.

The POF perimeter lighting requests powerful light engines/illuminators, say our 120W and 160W ones.

Weather-proof light engines are preferred over indoor ones even if there is a shelter. 

Bear in mind that light engines should always be kept out of reach of non-professional electricians for safety reasons.

Stranded multi-string side glow fiber cables consist of Mitsubishi SK-40 or CK-30 fiber strands with clear PU sheath.

Compared to solid side-glow cable, Stranded multi-string fiber cable has two advantages:
1. Longer length powered by the same light engines,
2. Outdoor use.

MSOF-3*14-1.0/SK, Φ12mm, a continuous length is upto 45meters powered by a 130W light engine,

while solid type, PSOF-8 of Φ11mm, is 15 meters.
