- Grand Cru Mandelberg 2017 was rated 97/100 at the Decanter Asia Wine Award. Located on Mandelberg calcimagnetic and stony soil, the harvest is manual. After a slow fermentation, aging on lees for 4 months with stirring. Appearance: deep yellow Nose: Richly fruity, litchees and pineapple Palate: spices accompany aromas of ripe fruit reminiscent of quince and mango. Rich, fat and well balanced, this persistent wine finishes on a very pleasant freshness. Ideal with spicy and upscale dishes, strong cheeses and fruit desserts.
