HIJIRIKO mudpack is a facial mudpack with excellent moisture retention property in which treasured Mt. Fuji volcanic mud is contained and natural oils such as jojoba oil, squalene are mixed and then charcoal is added. 

• Use once in 3-4 days. 
• After face wash, take thumb-sized portion and spread all over face except eyes and mouth. 
• Rinse off with water or lukewarm water and leave skin hydrated. 

It helps effectively remove dirt from pores and impurities. Minerals and natural oils contained moisturize skin, refine pores and leaves skin plumped and radiant. By using with HIJIRIKO soap together, color and fragrance free HIJIRIKO mudpack brings out best in characteristics. It’s effective to use in bath tub or during shower.

In the 1960s, a well-known potter found this unique material (Mt. Fuji volcanic mud) while working and realized it was the mineral rich mud that was protecting their hands keeping them wonderfully smooth and problem free. People in the area where the mud was mined used it for traditional remedies because of its high quality and skin care factors since hundreds of years before. In 1972 permission was granted for use as a quasi-drug. It first took the form of a bath additive and then later was re-born as a skincare series. All Hijiriko series contain treasured Mt. Fuji volcanic mud and the efficacy of this mud is mainly whitening, smoothing and detoxing skin.
