It is a machine designed for compacting metal chips and swarfs coming from processes of turning, milling or punching. The unit consists of a steel collecting container equipped with an adjustable wall where residues are loaded manually. A top cover, powered by a hydraulic piston, moves them within a compression chamber where another hydraulic piston compresses the material until one gets briquettes.
