LASEmaR 500™ is the gold standard in the treatment of pigmented and superficial vascular lesions as it makes use of a green light source (532nm) which represents the extremely high absorption of oxy-hemoglobin target that is perfectly complementary with the green light.
LASEmaR 500™ is superior to the older laser systems such as dye laser, copper-vapor laser or the krypton laser, as it does not require any maintenance, even it does not need costly supplies of tubes or dyes.
LASEmaR 500™ represents the most innovative solution in the field of diode lasers, because it uses 808 nm high power semi-conductor (DPSS) to “pump” optically a crystal that produces a 1964nm light.
Such an innovative system, like halving the wavelength, allows the operator to control the green light supply by using very short pulses.
Owing to its tough cooling system LASEmaR 500™ can be used for several hours every day without problems of over-heating.
