Product Description
The MAS-SF200 is a specialized monitoring platform developed by Sapiens for monitoring vessel emissions and fuel sulfur content in inland waterways, based on bridge-fixed platforms equipped with a small high-resolution sniffing sensor network. It possesses complete automation capabilities for data quality control.
This product uses a scientifically reasonable arrangement of small high-resolution sniffing sensor networks on bridges over inland water areas to continuously monitor the concentrations of different air pollutants in the exhaust plumes generated by passing vessels. It provides high-resolution real-time monitoring data to ascertain the emission levels of passing ships and enables scientific monitoring and regulation of vessel emissions and low-sulfur fuel usage, thus offering technical support for regulatory authorities managing air pollution from vessels.
Sapiens conducts a comprehensive statistical analysis of the emissions and fuel sulfur content of a large sample of vessels based on their actual operating conditions. This helps in understanding the overall emission status of vessels navigating inland waterways. Finally, based on the investigation of the impact and patterns of different vessel exhaust emissions, we provide recommendations and technical support for further optimization of measures to control air pollution from vessels.
Product Advantages
A compact, high-resolution sniffing sensor monitoring system that integrates high-precision pollutant sensors for measuring particulate matter, nitrogen oxides, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, and the sulfur content of marine fuel. The system also features information transmission and storage capabilities, automatic quality control, dynamic reference for gas monitoring, automatic calibration for gas temperature and humidity, periodic zeroing, and automatic heating for particulate pollutant modules, as well as sheath gas protection. Additionally, it incorporates a portable weather station to provide wind direction and speed data.
The SPSS ship emissions and fuel sulfur content detection data platform selects reference and peak values based on sniffing test results, calculates relevant emission factors and fuel sulfur content, and transmits the results to the associated data platform.
A data quality control system and software are provided, allowing users to operate this customized software for quality control of sensor equipment. It offers timely enforcement and control of high-value point alarms, enabling users to specify thresholds for evaluation.
Product Applications:
Online monitoring of marine vessel exhaust emissions.
Monitoring of exhaust emissions from inland waterway vessels.
