Inspired by the authentic manhole covers that line the streets of Hong Kong, this coaster re-imagines a piece of urban infrastructure as a piece of tableware. Referencing the original WSD standard drawing, we meticulously redrew, 3D-modelled, and transformed this iconic design into a precision-crafted product. Cast in zinc alloy using die-cast technique, each coaster embodies durability and tactility, finished in metallic tones of black, silver, gold and rose gold.

Uniquely, the coaster can be used as a whole, or split diagonally into two halves, it serves not only as a coaster but also as a fridge magnet, bringing a familiar symbol of Hong Kong right into your home.

這款杯墊靈感源自於香港街頭的坑渠蓋，將城市基礎設施轉化為一件家中實用的產品。參考原版水務署標準圖則，我們精心重新繪圖、3D建模，並將這個經典設計轉化為精密工藝製品。採用鋁合金壓鑄技術製造，每個杯墊兼具耐用性與質感，並以黑、銀、金及玫瑰金，金屬色澤表面處理。
