The Met One BAM 1020 is a continuous ambient particulate monitor that uses the beta ray attenuation principle to automatically measure and record airborne particulate concentrations (PM10, PM2.5 and PM10-2.5). It is designated as a US EPA Federal Equivalent Method (FEM) for PM10, PM2.5 and PM10-2.5, and is also approved by MCERTS, TÜV and CNEMC. Key features include hourly automatic measurement cycles, an active inlet heater for humidity control, a color touch screen display, and long filter tape life (over 70 days per roll). It is widely used in air quality monitoring stations (AQMS), environmental monitoring and regulatory compliance applications.
