WEBDOC is a mobile web application used to access documents in Logimage and Windoc document databases. It can also be used to consult and interact with our collaborative business process management system. Users can find specific documents on their mobile phones or tablets when out of the office. They can also add documents (images or videos) using their devices’ built-in cameras. In fact, all Logimage and Windoc functionalities are available on the go, and may be limited only by the device’s capacities. The collaborative business process management system can be consulted to find out where a transaction stands in a given process. Players can also be solicited directly on their mobile devices to perform a task. Once the task is complete, the software passes the transaction along to the next intervening player or group of players, until all the tasks have been processed.
- Types of users nearly any type of transaction can be processed in the collaborative business process system.
- Processes can be defined to carry out a variety of activities requiring attention, such as providing a quote, assessing damage of insured goods, explaining step-by-step the tests and actions needed for different health plans, automatically routing merchandise return requests, etc.
- Many, if not all, of these activities do not require an office, as documents and process are already virtual and so do not require the player to be on site.
- Types of customers: insurance companies, manufacturers, health care providers, consulting engineers, etc. are all typical customers.
- Organizations that provide their employees with work-at-home options - an employee benefit that reduces commuting time, stress, cost, etc. and can also be good candidates for this tool.
- This software offers a new approach on how to do business.
- Standardizing processes and monitoring all transactions (including being flagged when unacceptable delays occur) is indeed a modern way of doing business.
- Security and authentication can be provided by biometrically, such as by fingerprint, iris or retina recognition.
