Gemtree furniture board is made from non-radioactive natural Food Grade minerals, reinforced by fiberglass mesh and plant fiber which form a fiber network in it. Nano organic and inorganic -modification guarantee its stability, screw holding strength and impact strength,alternative to density board,particle board,plywood and PVC foamed board.
 
Properties
 
1. Fire proof and non-combustible: The main ingredient is inorganic, non-combustible mineral material Gemtree furniture board has a refractory temperature of 1000℃ and is non-combustible A1 Grade in accordance with GB8624-2012.
 
2. Water and humidity resistant: It is so dimensionally stable after prolonged exposure to moisture or even immersed in water that expansion and contraction is negligible and can restore all its properties while dried.
 
3. Termite and fungi resistant: It is a non-nutrient to mold or fungus in accordance with JIS Z2911.
 
4. Healthy and safe: It is formaldehyde free, non asbestos or-radiation.
 
5. Stability: It does not deform. Percentage of water swelling≤0.6%. Percentage of dry shrinkage≤0.3%.It can withstand both high and low temperatures and harsh weather conditions.
 
6. Lightweight and high strength: Its unique fiber network and density 0.95g/cm3 make its excellent impact and flexural strength.
 
7. Good nail holding strength: It has the same screw withdrawal strength as MDF of 1313N  and 1099N for the side edges. Can use nails, screws and pneumatic nailing..
 
8. Easily processed: It is easy to be cut, drilled, grooved and sculptured with hand tools or power tools.
 
9. No toxic smoke released when on fire: It is safety standard AQ1 according to GB/T 20285-2006.
 
10. Diverse decorations: The finishes may be laminated with veneer, HPL, leather, melamine, PVC, paper, metal, glass and may also be painted and plasticized.
11.Durability: Its water resistance, physical stability, non-deforming extend its lifetime.
