Tasting note
Royal Oil is an oil of great value, delicate, fruity, with a fresh, sweet aroma and notes of apple and fig. Its flavour is soft and not aggressive to the palate. It is the only Royal with PDO in the world and it is traditional to the region of the Sierra de Cazorla.
The Picual (Nature) oil has a great body, yellow and green tones and medium bitterness and sharpness. It is an oil with intense fruity flavour and no flaws. It usually tastes of green notes with hints of ripe tomatoes. Among his best qualities is its resistance to rancidity due to the significant amount of vitamin E.
Olive oil making
Olive oils produced are obtained from the fruit of the olive tree of Picual and Royal varieties, by mechanical means that do not cause any oil alteration. It retains the full flavour, aroma and characteristics of the fruit it comes from. The extra virgin olive oil, pure olive extract-is a superb quality oil. It is obtained directly from olive trees in excellent condition, solely by mechanical means, it has impeccable taste and smell, it is free from flaws and its acidity cannot exceed 0.8°.
Surrounding area
Our production area is located in the southeast of the province of Jaén, in a region with extraordinary value, near the Natural Park of Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas, the largest in Spain and second largest in Europe, with unique physical and biological characteristics.
Our extra virgin olive oils, are under the Denomination of Origin "Sierra de Cazorla" which guarantees the origin and quality of the same. The oils belong to the Picual and Royal varieties, rich in vitamins A, D, E and K, with a high content of monounsaturated fats and natural antioxidants and an organoleptic assessment that confirms an excellent quality oil.
