Osteoshell is a high strength, low viscosity hydroxyapatite-PMMA based shell healing adhesive specially designed for treating fractured shells of reptiles or injured beaks of birds. The material exhibits tenacious adhesion and tensile strength to hold the bone, shell, and beak fragments in place. Aquatic species can be released back to water within 48 hours after surgery. It is engineered from NOVUS's biomaterial formulation with ultimate biocompatibility and bioactivity. 

Shell fractures and beak fractures with observable bleeding are advised to use the sterilized version.
