This is a cork crossbody bag that comes with a removable and adjustable strap. The bag is fastened by a button made of rubber and coconut shell. The bag is made of natural cork bark. When a cork oak reaches 25 years old, a 1 inch-thick layer of cork bark is harvested without damaging the tree. The bark of the mature cork oak can be harvested every nine years. After sterilization, the cork bark is pressed flat into a thin cloth. The work cloth with wood is then fixed on another linen fabric that is firm and not easily fallen off. The in-between lining is a cotton layer for extra protection.
