Yezhen cool zongzi is made by burning carefully selected beneficial grass and branches in wild mountains to obtain the ash, after which it will be put into a bamboo container to be soaked in cool boiled water. After filtering the ash water, the pure cool water will be used to soak the glutinous rice, after which the rice will be tied with zongzi leaf. Simply boil till cooked and eat. The taste will be even better after refrigerated.
