100% made in Japan, "The Lean Red Wagyu" is the low-fat, healthy option for tender premium beef. It comes from Japanese shorthorn wagyu cattle, a rare breed raised in Iwate in northern Japan. Our shorthorns are raised the same way as other wagyu, with health monitoring and feeding programs designed around the age, breed, and sex of the cattle, so the beef is soft, but compared to A4/A5 wagyu beef from Japanese black cattle, Japanese shorthorn wagyu beef has less fat marbling and more red meat, giving it more savory beefy flavor that is light in the stomach and doesn't weigh you down. Beef from our Japanese shorthorns is lean, tender, and high in protein, with lots of beefy flavor to sink your teeth into that leaves you wanting more.
Shorthorn wagyu beef is more reasonably priced than other wagyu beef, and it is soft and has a unique flavor. The beef is born, raised, and processed 100% in Japan, with no growth hormones. We raise our own cattle at our HACCP-certified farms in Miyagi and Iwate in northeast Japan, so we are looking for a beef distributor to import full sets of our beef for further processing within Hong Kong. We accept smaller orders starting from 1 half set (about 150kg of beef), and we can arrange temperature-controlled shipping to the airport in Hong Kong. Our beef is processed at Iwachiku's facilities (Est. No. I-1), so it meets all requirements for importing into Hong Kong. We can provide the beef to you chilled or frozen.
