Gathered cockles are steamed then the cockles and peels are separted, and the product is made by taking just the cockle contents and cleanig and vacuum packaging it. Because only cockles contents that have benn steamed are there, one doesn't have to boil or peel them, so consumers can be conveniently used in cockles cooking. Also it practices the Seafood Traceability System, and the product has been HACCP certified, so consumers can eat these with relief.
