Inspired by the ‘Garackji’ of the Joseon Dynasty, ANDRONIKE Torus ring is the very first design Hanna J. Grey designed and crafted.
This type of jewelry is commonly worn by married woman and reminiscent of white porcelain and moon jars from the Joseon period. Flat on the inside yet lively on the outside, this ring functions as a contemporary fashionable jewellery piece that focuses on simplicity and elegance.
The structure comes from an architectural viewpoint for a human body where the fingers act as silhouettes of columns. The thickness and width of the Torus is smoothed out for comfort and is great to layer with different proportional pieces in order to create the ideal column on the wear’s hands.
The Torus ring shown is handmade from filled 18k yellow gold. This design is also available in sterling silver, 14k and 18k yellow, white and rose gold, platinum.
