This VRLA battery (valve-regulated lead-acid battery) is a lead-acid rechargeable battery with a sealed case. The battery gives reduced gas ventilation and can be used in confined of badly ventilated spaces. The pressure relief valve activates when the battery is recharged at high voltage.
