The China-Europe Express is an international intermodal container train organized by China Railway Corporation and running in Eurasia. Since the first trial run in 2011, the China-Europe Railway Express has developed rapidly and has become an important logistics and trade channel between China and Europe. These trains not only speed up the transportation of goods, but also promote economic and trade cooperation between China and relevant countries.

Different from ordinary freight, the characteristics of the train are "five fixed", that is, fixed point (fixed loading and unloading location), fixed line (fixed running line), fixed time (fixed schedule and train), fixed time (fixed arrival and departure time), pricing (fixed transportation price). The whole process of operation is monitored, and must be operated in strict accordance with the time and place specified in the operation chart, except for the specified place to stop, no stopping, no loading and unloading of goods, which is a typical "point-to-point" transportation. Trains are usually divided into two categories: container trains and general cargo trains. In order to facilitate reloading and entry-exit inspection, the current China-Europe trains are all container trains.
