Members/Subscribers may conduct Court Lead Search by entering the full or part of any target subject name (individual or entity) as an INITIATING PARTY (e.g. Applicant, Claimant, Plaintiff, Appellant, etc.) or a RESPONDING PARTY (e.g. Debtor, Defendant, Respondent, etc.), or a valid court case number. Category of the respective parties will be shown for reference after login.

Your search may be refined by selecting all or selective courts and search period so that you will not be overloaded with all related and repeated information and/or records with similar names. Your search will yield a court search report based on a court action for your reference should the target subject information provided by you responded with a positive match with any record in eCML’s Court Lead database through the Court Lead Search.

The Court Lead Search will not display the name of a defendant for his/her fresh appearance before a criminal court as information of fresh cases will normally not be shown on the daily court lists. In addition, names of criminal case defendants/respondents aged under 16 will be kept anonymous by the Court and accordingly will not be shown in the Court Lead Search result.

Members/Subscriber has an option of using different input methods for Court Lead Search:

1. Single target subject input – Subscriber may input the target subjects individually in the search field to perform the Court Lead Search, OR
2. Target Subjects BATCH input – Subscriber may upload a Target Subjects List containing all the Target Subjects to be searched in the Excel table provided to perform the Court Lead Search in one lot. (Please contact Customer Service for details.)

Please note that the number of Target Subjects in the Target Subject List shall be counted as the number Court Lead Search Units used and there is NO extra charge of the use of the “Batch Input”. The BATCH input is offered for Subscribers who have a need to perform a large number of Target Subject Court Lead Searches and designed to allow such Subscribers to retain a copy of the list of their Target Subjects searched.
