PMS is an award-winning software utilising RFID technology and QR code with workers' Android phones to capture the production data from the fabrics cutting till the finished garments exit the shopfloor in which control points can be setup to record important data. It is a very good tool for lean manufacturing. PMS got patent certificate from Hong Kong Special Administrative Region dating back to year 2003 and has won the bronze medal in RFID solution competition awarded by GS1, a globally renowned RFID institution, in year 2013. Along the line, PMS is coupled with IPc’s self-developed electronics devices/APP for RFID number/barcode pairing (GT103), production work capture (GTeXmini), finished goods quality controller pad (fQCPad), roving quality controller pad (rQCPad), and line productivity display (Kanban APP). Depending on expectations of customer, these devices may be installed on each sewing machine or at the key check points to show the real time shopfloor production status.
