Hiroaki Ohya began his design career with international fashion designer Issey Miyake as his mentor. In 1996, Ohya opened his own design studio, Ohya Design Zoo, whilst continuing to do work for Miyake. In 1999, Astro Boy By Ohya was born, bringing together two of Japan’s great creative minds.
