Hohenstein is a founding member of the International Association for Research and Testing in the Field of Textile and Leather Ecology, known in short as OEKO-TEX®. To help consumers make well founded purchasing decisions, we award OEKO-TEX® product labels to show on the one hand that textiles and leather products have been tested for harmful substances, and on the other to award textile products that have been manufactured in an environmentally friendly and socially responsible way alongside that. In doing so, we provide effective consumer protection and transparent information about sustainable, responsible production along the textile supply chain.
