Consulate General of Hungary in Hong Kong

The Consulate General of Hungary is the official diplomatic (consular) mission of Hungary accredited to Hong Kong and Macao. 

The office is responsible for liaising with the Hong Kong Government and local partners, provide consular services, provide information on Hungary and introduce Hungarian culture. 

The main function of the Trade Section of the Consulate is trade promotion. The Trade Section assists Hungarian companies in accessing the local market with market information, business contacts and advice, assists Hungarian companies in sourcing products and services from Hong Kong, assists foreign companies in sourcing in and procuring from Hungary, and provides information to local companies and organizations with an interest to invest in Hungary. We facilitate liaising with relevant Government Departments and government or professional organizations in Hungary. Gathering market intelligence and economic reporting also falls into the scope of our activity, including tourism promotion and facilitating cooperation in innovation and technology. The network of Commercial Consuls/Trade Commissioners covers over 120 locations worldwide, ready to help bilateral commercial relations thrive.
