Rectangle RaysTray
Dyed with a traditional dyeing process called woad-vatting with traditional Japanese indigo dye extracted from knotweed, this beautifully figured wooden tray displays delicate graining patterns for a polished, subtly luxurious, and sophisticated look. The refined serving tray is crafted with a unique pasting technique and a design called “Kosen-hari”, that features Tsuki-ita, wood veneer sheets, with a corner cut in an acute angle and pasted around from the center, so once the tray is held up and tipped in different angles, rays of light would seem to be beaming out from the center, creating various hues for a dreamy and captivating impression. Take the art of food presentation with this other-worldly and exquisite serveware.
