Harris Tweed can only be made from 100% pure wool, dyed and spun on the islands and handwoven at the home of the weaver in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.
Harris Tweed is no ordinary fabric. The "Clo Mor" (Scotish Gaelic for great cloth) is born of the land, where the colours are inspired by the islands "unique flora and fauna, there is a near mystical relationship between the cloth, our mill and weavers, who all soulfully add their artisan skills to each stage of production. From wool, to yarn, to tweed-the complex process has a refined luxury. Harris Tweed Hebrides had driven a renaissance for this iconic British cloth, yet the cloth still retains its first principles of craftsmanship and ethical production values.
The Harris Tweed Hebrides interior collection offers traditional archive inspired designs, alongside contemporary modern patterns, all handwoven to exact customer requirements.
