Bagasse Product Description
What is Bagasse?
Bagasse is sugar cane fiber pulp, left after the juice has been extracted from the sugar cane stalk. Bagasse is normally seen as a waste product, and is often burned thereby causing air pollution. Producing Product out of the Bagasse solves the problem of waste and as well creates a value added product from a material, which is treated as a waste product.
The benefits of using bagasse
Bagasse is 100% compostable and it biodegrades in 60-90 days (Without Paint). Through the use of this product, you are contributing to a sustainable planet. Bagasse is a tree-free readily renewable resource and provides a superior alternative to plastic products. It will biodegrade and will not stay in the environment for hundreds of years.
Bagasse products can also throw into Paper Recycling Bin for recycle. If the product is not fully buried into soil or soak into water, it will not biodegrade itself.
The Limitation of Bagasse
There is a limit in the depth of the product. We suggest that maximum depth is in 10cm. We can also produce in 12-14cm, however, the product itself may be easier to break.
Component Testing
A component testing was done on a Painted Bagasse product. The product had used PU Paint which is Polyurethane. Other than that, the product is made by Plant Cellulose.
Biodegradable Testing
A biodegradable testing was done on a Painted Bagasse Product by SGS. The result is it has biodegraded 99.4% in 88 days.
