Baicheng is a newly developing prefecture-level city in north China. To view it from the world, Baicheng is an important junction city on the fourth Eurasia Land Bridge connecting Russia, Mongolia, China and DPRK，which is designed and planned by UNDP. In China, Baicheng is at the border of Jilin, Heilongjiang and Inner Mongolia, and it’s the only pass for southwest Heilongjiang cities(such as Qiqihaer) and northeast Inner Mongolia cities(such as Hulunbeier and Xiang’anmeng) to enter the Shanhai Pass. In Jilin province, Baicheng lies in the northwest of Jinlin Province, and in the west of Nenjiang Plain. The city covers an area of 26 thousand square km, ranking the third among the 9 cities and prefectures in Jilin, which governs 5 counties such as Taobei District, Taonan City, Da’an City, Zhenlai County and Tongyu County, with a population of 2.03 million.
