   香港出口信用保險跼（信保跼）於1966年成立，是為香港出口商提供出口信用保險服務的法定机構，以保障出口商在付貨前後因商業或政治事故未能收回款項的風險，從而鼓勵及支援香港出口貿易。信保跼鬚根據《香港出口信用保險跼條例》（香港法例第1115章）的要求營運，併獲香港特憋行政區政府保證承擔信保跼根據保險合約所負的或有法律責任，現時法定最高負責額為400億港元。   信保跼為需放帳予海外買家或用戶的香港貨物或服務業出口商，就放帳期長達180天的交易提供一系列出口信用保險服務。信保跼除了承保在香港出口和轉口的貨物外，亦承保由供應商所在地不經香港而直接付運予買家的离岸貨運。信保跼保險設施的最高賠償率為信用限額的90%。

The credit information is regularly updated to monitor the risks.    With a worldwide network of lawyers and debt collectors available to call on, the ECIC is in a strong position to assist policyholders in solving payment problems and to advise them on practical actions for preventing or minimizing losses.    Insurance policies issued by the ECIC are accepted by the banking community as useful collateral for discounting export bills.
