The 5.8GHz RF/analog SoC is specially designed for the ETC service, equipping with a latest 0.18um SiGe BiCMOS technology. It consists of the LNA, mixer, AGC, demodulator, modulator, power amplifier, VCO, and prescaler. Its high performance of receiving sensitivity and output power is suitable for on-board units (OBU) and road-side equipment (RSE) of ETCS (electronic toll collection service), TIS (traffic Information service), BIS (bus information service), and other DSRC services.
