Description
To provide the reliability expected in certain archiving environments, we have created this ADA cartridge with a special ID structure. A special ADA ID is added onto the media. The ADA drive recognizes the ADA media by reading the special ADA ID. The ADA drive does not support the conventional BD media if it was manually inserted into the cartridge. The ADA drive does not support the CD and DVD media if it was manually inserted into the cartridge. Only supported cartridge configurations are DVD-RAM with the DVD-RAM cartridge and ADA with the ADA cartridge.
