With copper elements in Chrysocolla, one of the containment in Blue Chalcedony, it presents a blue hue and has become the most valuable kind within the variety. Since the discovery of the mineral at Taiwan Mount Doulan in the 60s, the stone has been highly welcomed by the industry owing to its exquisite color and smooth texture; Taiwan was once listed as an important origin of Blue Chalcedony, therefore the name.
