Description
Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG is made from Glera, Bianchetta and Verdiso grown on the hills of Collalto of Susegana in Italy. The sparkling white wine gone through the fermentation at a controlled temperature of about 15-16°C, followed by leaving the wine on the lees in stainless steel tanks a period of 5 months at 6-8°C. The secondary fermentation takes place by the addition of the raisins which were created from a portion of the same harvest.
  • Grape varietal: Glera, Bianchetta, Verdiso.
  • Alcohol % by volume: 11.5%.
  • Total acidity: 5.8g/l.
  • PH level: 3.3.
  • Residual sugar: none.
  • Grapes harvested in the last ten days of September.
  • Light pressing with pneumatic press techniques are used.
  • Appearance: straw yellow
  • Aroma: the characteristic hint of “bread crust” together with the typical Prosecco’s fresh and fruity notes that we perceive at the end of fermentation.
  • Palate: Initial soft fruity flavors combine with a hint of yeast, leaving room for a dry and pleasantly bitter taste of greater complexity.
