Curious Brew is a range of three beers that are a fusion of brewing and winemaking techniques. Created by Frazer Thompson, the former global brand director at Heineken and his winemaking team at Chapel Down, this is a unique range of world-class premium beers that are exciting and delighting the bars and restaurants of London. We believe this range of beer offers the discerning beer drinker a new beer experience. Our quality has already been recognized in the International Beer Challenge 2012. The expert judges awarded Curious Brew Gold in the "Oscars" of the beer world. The beer series is well-balanced, carefully considered and patiently brewed. Curious Brew represents the best of English brewing and the finest of winemaking techniques and passion. There are three beers in the range. Curious Brew is a premium pilsner-style beer, re-fermented using Champagne yeast and given a late-hop dosage of the rare and delicious Nelson Sauvin hop. This is a 4.7 abv beer that will surprise and delight. It is available in draught and 33cl bottles. Curious IPA is a true India pale ale, bursting with hops and high in alcohol. We have blended three hops to create something truly balanced and flavorsome. Like fine Bordeaux, Champagne or Cotes du Rhone, three varieties are often better than one. It has Bramling Cross and Goldings traditional hops finished with the exciting new Citra hop. It is available on draught and 33cl bottles. Curious Porter is a classic old English beer style brought right up to date. It is a very drinkable bottle-conditioned beer that has been matured with oak. This Porter has been brewed using crystal, chocolate, black and amber malts from floor-malted Sussex barley. The bittering hop is Sussex-grown Admiral with a small amount of Golding late hops. It is available in 33cl bottles only.
