Cylinder-shaped Kettle with Bamboo Pattern by Suzuki Shuzendo

This is a hundred-year-old iron kettle bearing the seal of "Made by Suzuki of Zhushantang (主善堂鈴木造 )". This inscription is very old and had not been used for a long time. It is probably the work of the ninth generation of Suzuki Shuzendo.

The kettle has two branches of young bamboo as the handle, which is relatively rare. The knob is a pine nut, giving a feeling of nature!

Although the basic shape is an "inch-cylinder", the workmanship is much more complicated. Works of this level are rare today.

 九代鈴木主善堂竹束壺

這是一個用「主善堂鈴木造」章的過百年鐵壺。這個款銘是很古舊的，已經很久沒有用了，估是九代鈴木忠七的作品。

壺的造型是用兩枝幼竹作把，比較罕見，壺鈕用松實，貫徹大自然的感覺！

雖然基本造型是寸筒型，但在造工方面繁複多了，這個級別的作品，今天已很少見。
