Description
The WAVE 1000 series Smart Ethernet Media Converter converts Ethernet 10/100Base-TX signals into 100Base-FX signals. It is a highly integrated layer-2 switch with an optimized 10/100Mbps switch system. There are two kinds of Ethernet media converters, the conventional SC Duplex transceivers and WBR (WDM Bi-directional SC Receptacle) transceivers.
- Application: Metro Optical Ethernet, u-City (Fiber) home, fiber optical LAN.
- FTTH (Fiber to the Home)/FTTB (Fiber to the Building)/FTTC(Fiber to the Curb).
- 1 TX and 1 FX port 100/1000Base-TX/FX unmanaged media converter.
