FPC is a complimentary circuit design to rigid PCB as well as membrane circuit. Given its properties of lightness, flexibility, ductility, thinness, low resistance, fine pitch, good solderability, FPC is best suited for circuit design in compact products. Moreover, the gold plating and the laminated circuitry provide extra protection to the circuitry and thus make the circuitry more resistance to the harsh application environment.
