All of our handmade glass pieces are hand made by myself from borosilicate glass. We use an extremely hot torch to melt and shape the glass. These are not made with molds but hand sculpted. They have also been properly annealed in a professional kiln, to strengthen them and increase durability. We use US made glass and tools to make our creations. This is a flamework, also known as lampwork. The galaxy inside the pendant is obtained by mixing the glass with silver and gold. These metals give incredible colors when they are worked at more than 2000 degrees. We put a small planet into the pendant. The small planet is created opal. All of piece making a pendant often need nearly two hours of concentrate! Our galaxy pendant is special and unique.
