Door Sections

Materials and Construction - Sections shall be steel sandwich construction, 40 mm) thick, consisting of exterior and interior skins with injected polyurethane  foam insulating core. Exterior and interior skins to be roll formed from commercial quality hot-dipped galvanized ) steel.

Surface Texture - Exterior and interior sections to be stucco-embossed with roll-formed grooves to a depth.

Stiles/Hardware Plates - End stiles and double width where required. All stiles shall be designed for ease of attaching hardware with prepunched mounting holes hardware. Hardware plates to be galvanized steel and shall be located under each hinge location and prepunched for ease of hinge attachment.

Insulation - Insulation to be injected polyurethane  foam insulating core type

Weatherstripping/Seals - Doors shall be furnished with a complete weatherstripping system to reduce air infiltration. Joints between sections to be provided with two bulb-type seals. Thermal break shall be hot melt bead type. Bottom of door to have flexible U-shaped vinyl seal encased in full length extruded aluminum retainer to conform to floor irregularities. Weatherstripping shall be replaceable without removal of track, angle mounting, or door hardware.
